The Mastertones were a popular East Coast vocal group that hailed from White Plains, New York consisting of Clarence “Pop” Gray (tenor lead & guitar); George “Bronx” Rivers (first tenor); Emanuel “Doc” Robinson (second? tenor); Frank McRae (baritone) and Charles “Stony” Dimbo (bass). Presented here is their classic single “What'll You Do?” b/w “Tell Me” originally released in 1954 on the New York based Bruce Records label.
